AMD passes $1 trillion market value for the first time

Three market accounts reported the crossing on Monday. One put the gain at $284 billion over 18 days, a figure no other account carried.

AMD's market value passed $1 trillion on Monday, three market accounts said, a level the company had not reached before. PolymarketMoney posted the crossing first, and BullTheoryio and Kalshi_Finance followed within about 20 minutes of it.

BullTheoryio said AMD hit an all-time high and put the increase at $284 billion over the last 18 days, a rise of about 40 percent across the same period. That figure comes from one account, and AMD has not commented on it.

The accounts differ in what they give. Kalshi_Finance and PolymarketMoney posted the threshold alone. Neither named the share count or the price behind it, so the exact level may turn on which measure an account uses, and none of the three cited an exchange filing.

SemiconductorsX linked Monday's move in AMD and Intel to falling oil prices, Treasury yields below 5 percent and a fading scare over AI spending. It also said Intel's chief executive, Lip-Bu Tan, has described demand as strong enough that Intel can fill only half its orders. That reading is one account's, and Intel has not confirmed the figure.
