Cloudflare launches Cf, an agentic CLI for its API

Cloudflare launched Cf, an open-source command-line tool built for AI agents to call its entire API surface, the company said. Cf exposes more than 3,000 Cloudflare API operations, generated automatically from the company's API schemas, compared with roughly 280 supported by Cloudflare's existing Wrangler CLI.
Cf defaults to JSON output for easier parsing by agents and adds a "cf cli search" command for natural-language command discovery, according to Cloudflare's announcement. Configuration is written in TypeScript through a cloudflare.config.ts file, and the tool ships with Vite as its default build tool and development server.
Cloudflare said the release followed data showing AI agents already account for 48% of Wrangler's usage. Developers can install Cf with "npm i -g cf" and migrate existing Wrangler projects with a "cf migrate" command, the company said.
