Developer builds a site to watch YouTube with GPT‑6 Sol
The page pipes a video into the new ChatGPT Voice so the model can comment as it plays, and its maker filmed Sol reviewing a rival model.
An account posting as miu21590 said on Wednesday it had built a site that lets a user watch YouTube alongside GPT-6 through the new ChatGPT Voice. A viewer opens the page in Codex, pastes a link and starts talking, according to the post, which had 315 likes and 38,748 views.
The demonstration it chose is pointed. In the clip the maker says GPT-6 Sol is watching a review of Claude Opus 5.5 and weighing in as the video plays. OpenAI released Sol on Tuesday and Anthropic released Opus 5.5 the same evening.
The account said WebMCP keeps the model synced with the video, so that what it says tracks where the playback has reached. The post links no code, and nobody else has run the site, so the setup rests on the maker's description of it.
OpenAI said on Tuesday that ChatGPT Voice can now use plugins, and that GPT-6 Sol is among the models able to drive it. That change is what makes a page like this possible, and it may produce more of them.
What the clip shows is a model reacting to a video in something close to real time. What it does not show is how often the commentary is wrong, since a viewer watching alone has no way to check it against the footage.
