Claude Sonnet 5.5 may ship within days, TestingCatalog says

TestingCatalog reported that Claude Sonnet 5.5 could ship soon, citing leaked screenshots rather than any Anthropic announcement. One leak the outlet cited points to a release "as early as early next week." Anthropic has not confirmed a release date or the model's existence.
TestingCatalog said the leaks include screenshots from two accounts it named, Lyra and LuminaBench, and a listing on the Factory platform that already shows the model marked unavailable. It also cited a video said to compare Sonnet 5.5 against GPT-6 Sol.
The leaked material points to a context window of 872,000 to 1 million tokens and a maximum output of 128,000 tokens, TestingCatalog said. It said thinking would be "adaptive by default," disabled only at low, medium or high settings, and that the model drops forced tool use, a feature in earlier Claude releases.
Alleged pricing in the leaks put input tokens at $2 per million, output at $10 per million and cached reads at $0.20 per million. TestingCatalog said the figures were preliminary and could change. No other outlet had corroborated the report, and Anthropic did not respond to a request for comment.
