Fal adds US‑hosted 4K video generation for Seedance 2.0
Video platform fal said its US-hosted deployment of ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 model now supports 1080p and 4K generation, matching resolutions already available on the model's standard API.

The US-hosted option runs entirely on domestic infrastructure for customers with data-residency requirements, fal said. It has carried separate pricing and an approval process since launch, and had previously trailed the resolution on Seedance 2.0's standard, non-US-hosted API.
The change follows a similar 1080p upgrade for the US-hosted version of Seedance 2.5 the week before, according to the same post. Seedance 2.0 is built by ByteDance. It generates clips up to 15 seconds long with synchronized dialogue, music and sound effects, drawn from text or image prompts, per fal's product listings.
Fal did not say whether pricing changes with the new resolutions. No other platform had reported matching the upgrade at the time of writing.
