Higgsfield posts a week of Opus 5.5 against GPT‑6 duels

The video tool has run Claude and three OpenAI models through samurai games, a flight simulator and a snow plough, and its first clip passed a million views.

Higgsfield has spent the week posting side-by-side videos that set Claude Opus 5.5 against three OpenAI models from the GPT-6 family on the same brief. Its samurai game demo, published on Tuesday, had 6,359 likes and 1,075,619 views by Thursday morning, the largest response the series has drawn.

The comparisons are Higgsfield's own and were made with its own product. The company has published no method beside them, and it does not say how many attempts each model was given or who judged the output. No independent test of the pairings has appeared.

The briefs have widened as the week went on. A dogsled racing game and a snow-clearing game each paired Opus 5.5 with GPT-6 Sol. A flight simulator drew 266 likes on Thursday, an animated samurai showdown 74, A four-way 3D rocket launch set Opus 5.5 against all three OpenAI models at once.

One post carries numbers rather than footage. On a commercial video brief, Higgsfield put Opus 5.5 at 60 minutes and $50, against 82 minutes and $97 for GPT-6 Astra. Those figures are the company's own and cover a single job, so they may not hold on another.

A separate post describes a brief the company set both models at once, asking for a looping animation of the water cycle written entirely in code. Higgsfield said the result renders every frame in the browser and ships as a single HTML file with offline playback.

Anthropic released Opus 5.5 on Tuesday and OpenAI released Sol and Luna about 90 minutes later, which is why the pairings exist at all. Response across the series is lopsided. The samurai clip has drawn more than 30 times the likes of the motion design post that followed it.
