Meta gives its Muse agent a small‑business version wired into Shopify and Stripe
Meta's Muse for Small Business links its AI agent to 15 work apps plus Instagram, Facebook and ad accounts, free for most features in the US and Canada.
Meta on Tuesday launched Muse for Small Business, a version of its Muse personal AI agent aimed at owners running a shop or service, according to Meta's announcement. CNBC reported it as a push by Mark Zuckerberg beyond the consumer market, a day after Meta announced a separate enterprise platform.
Owners can connect Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom, Meta says. It also links Instagram professional accounts, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts. Custom connectors are supported for services not on the list.
Meta lists uses including annual growth planning from sales and campaign data, prioritising email and calendar, analysing ad and content performance and drafting campaigns, and a monthly financial review. Meta says the agent flags emails that need replies and drafts content, and that it asks for approval before publishing, sending or spending.
Availability is limited to the US and Canada. Meta says most features are free, with subscription plans on top, and did not give pricing details, according to CNBC. Quotes in the announcement come from a grocery owner and Canva co-founder Cameron Adams, so no independent test of the agent has been published.
The launch follows an earlier report that Muse botched a sale and apologised on a user's behalf. Meta's own examples describe a supervised agent, and how often owners will approve its drafts unedited is not yet known. Nobody outside Meta has published usage figures for the small-business version.
