WiCi shows $1,999 box that serves a remote GPU over Wi‑Fi 7
The company says a client driver makes a networked RTX card look local, and quotes 20 tokens a second on DeepSeek V4 Flash.
WiCi has shown the WiCi One, an enclosure that holds an Nvidia RTX card and serves it to a laptop over Wi-Fi 7, the company said on its product page. A client-side driver intercepts graphics commands and turns them into network requests, so the machine treats the remote card as local.
The company lists two editions: an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7, and an RTX 5090 with 32GB. The 5090 edition adds a 4TB NVMe 5 drive for model weights and datasets. WiCi describes the wireless link as 4x4 MIMO at 320MHz.
WiCi puts the price at $2,599, or $1,999 for early signups, and says shipments should begin in the fourth quarter. Tom's Hardware, which reported the product on Thursday, called it a developer preview with no firm retail date. Nobody outside the company has tested one.
The company quotes 20 tokens a second on DeepSeek V4 Flash and more than 500 tokens a second on Gemma 4, and says a technique it calls TurboStream weight paging lets the box run trillion-parameter models. Those figures are WiCi's own, measured on hardware and workloads it chose.
WiCi says the box also runs unmodified games and 3D rendering tools, and that inference stays on a user's home network rather than going to a cloud. It has not published the latency the wireless link adds, and the figures may not hold on a congested network.
