Grok Bot passes 400,000 weekly users after first month, Bloomberg says
The figure comes from a SpaceXAI staff presentation in London and covers the week ending 14 September, when usage grew 24% on the week before.
SpaceXAI's Grok Bot reached 418,000 weekly users in the week ending 14 September, up 24% on the week before, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday. The figure was set out in a presentation given by SpaceXAI staff in London last week, the Bloomberg reporter Ed Ludlow said.
Ludlow described the number as a sign of modest but early demand for a key product. The count is the company's own, taken from an internal presentation rather than a public disclosure, and SpaceXAI has published no figure of its own.
Four market accounts relayed the Bloomberg report within the hour, several of them rounding the figure down to 400,000. The account rests on Bloomberg's reporting alone. Weekly users is a looser measure than the daily count companies more often give for a consumer app.
The number lands beside third-party estimates for Meta's rival agent. Apptopia put Muse at 642,000 daily active users in the US, TechCrunch reported this week. The two figures cover different periods and different measures, so they may not be comparable.
