Reuters/Ipsos poll finds 73% worry AI firms have not done enough

Some 73% of Americans worry that AI companies have not gone far enough to prevent AI from causing serious harm to society, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. Reuters, posting on Tuesday, described that share as three-quarters of those surveyed.
The figure is Reuters' account of a poll it commissioned itself. No second newsroom has carried the result in the material gathered so far, and the finding rests on the one post. Reuters did not publish the wording of the question it asked.
